People often ask for the URL of their coupon code, or want to combine a coupon and an affiliate link (there's a great support doc on support.teachable.com on this topic) but I wanted to point out the basic parts of the coupon code so that it doesn't look like greek.


The anatomy of your coupon code is basically the following:

  1. the name of your school (or main url)
  2. the word /courses/ defines where all of your courses are stored
  3. the next section is the url friendly version of your course name
  4. then, you'll see the product id - If you have several pricing plans, there may be several product id's
  5. and finally, the coupon you created shows up
[NOTE] The &preview=logged_out in the screenshot below is displaying because I'm viewing as a logged out user. This part of the code shouldn't be included when you share the link with your customers / students. Copy everything before the & sign and you're good to go!
