Question: I would like to put additional resources such as cheat sheets, additional resource guides etc on and link to them from the appropriate lesson , what's the best way to do this ?

The best way to do this is by adding a resource page to the end of every module. Or, in some cases add an entire resource section to the end of a course, separated by "lessons".
